 Waterfalls and birds were what we saw in Iguazu area. Three countries share the area, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.  On the Argentina side you stand above and look down on the falls, from Brazil you look up from below. Falls are huge, more than a 1.5 miles wide. The most dramatic part is an horseshoe area called Devils Throat. Metal walkways take you to the view spots. Cannot avoid getting wet from the spray, noise is deafening. Part of Devils Throat. Dinner at the Argentinian Experience, includes very common drink “matte “ which is horrible, ground up plant material which is put loose in a cup, almost full and then water is added, you sip from a special straw with a filter at the bottom. Looks like a pipe but it’s not, you refill with water many times, the plant material last a long time, very bitter taste of vegetable matter.  Following another sea day - also happened to be Valentine’s Day - we stopped at Punta Del Este Uruguay a resort town with many hotels, casinos and restaurants. Argentinians and Brazilians come in the summer to spend money, lots of big yachts. This stop was added because we could not stop at the Falklands. We took a bus tour of the town. Lighthouse  Famous sculpture called The Hand. Home of artist who created The Hand, built over 50 years, now a hotel and museum. We did not go inside. At the port in Montevideo. An excursion we chose was an “Argentinian Meat Experience” held a a brew pub - 3 servings of the same cut from different breeds were served and five beer samples too. Lots of fun and tasty. Passed this spot grilling meat, unfortunately had already eaten so had to pass. This is from Buenas Aires, BOCA district, the poorest area, on the balcony Eva Peron and a local football star, the other guy is a politician. Empanadas and other snacks.
